Tim,

I assume you're using a Z24 block/crank/rods/pistons with an L series head?
No such thing as an L24b timing cover unfortunately so you will have to
lengthen an L20b cover by 20mm to take up the slack, expensive and messy but
the only other solution is grafting the top bit of the L20b cover onto the
bottom bit of the Z24 cover, more expensive and messy
