A mate of mine used to have an R30 with injected L24. We allways reved it to
6500 revs and sometimes to about 7000! It didn't ever have any trouble doing
this and went really hard. The suspension was lowered by the previous owner
so I think some internal mods may had been done to the engine (it looked
stock from the outside, standard exhaust etc.). I was wondering what sort of
mods generelly make a datto engine rev higher? porting? bigger valves? Other
stock R30s I've driven went no where near as hard as this one. Anyone got
any thoughts to share? Thomas.
