james,
i got a stock l20b with mild cam, once its warm i frequently take it to
6000rpm 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and its never given me any hassels. should be
fine. ive taken it 7000rpm but its pointless as u get nowhere and it pulls
much harder in the next gear change. but this is also with a 240k carby. i
got the l20 carby back on and i notice its doesnt wanna rev as much as the
240k.
anyway hope this helps.
but also i have had the head rebuilt under 10 months ago too.

Ryan
