Daniel, I'm still only on the factory SR injectors
that are 370cc per minute (Jim Wolf of JWT rates them up to 270hp)
The SR injector is a bit of a special injector in
that they are 'side entry'. Which really limits there upgrade options, you
can get em, put they are super $$$$.
I think you'll have heaps to choose from with the
Z18. If they are standard top mounts something like a 510cc 13b turbo
injector would be the go. They are only about 50 bucks each.

Well that just sold me, I'll have to invest in
one of these little suckers me thinks, if I don't come across one at the
wreckers I'll look at buying one new. Just wondering Cam what injectors
you are using. I think when the time comes the Z-18et ones will
definetly need upgrading.
Thanks everyone, been extremely helpful as
usual!

I'm with you there Tom....'Seeing and hearing'
how much stress the engine is under on the Dyno, I swore I'd never cut
corners on the fuel supply.
Mine running 12 psi boost at 159kw with about
80% duty on 4 * 370cc per minute injectors at about 80psi fuel pressure
gives an idea of how much fuel is flowing. One little lean out and
$1600 short motor here you come.

Aren't these pumps only around $140 brand
spankers? I would think that'd be the go there, would never ever need to
upgrade the fuel system (unless you went totally mental)
Just a thought!

Sorry Andrew, I didn't mean that I don't
want a VL turbo pump I was just wondering what else can be used. I
think my chances of finding a wrecked VL turbo with the pump still
on it is buckly's, that's why I asked.

List, tomorrow I'm heading to the wreckers with a
mate of mine and am wondering what fuel pumps I should look out for
to suit a reasonably high powered Z-18et. I already have the
standard EFI high pressure pump but I think with up to 250hp (that's
my ultimate goal) the standard one will not be able to flow enough
volume to keep up with the engine. So which cars are suitable
donors for such a pump except VL turbos? Cheers Daniel Kroehn
