Thats what my mate at a Holden dealer told me when I got a new VL turbo
pump from them.

Cheers,

Daniel,
Im pretty sure youll find that the injected V8 dunnydoor fuel pumps have
the same flow capacity as the VL turbo ones, and will be alot easier to
locate!! Dont qoute me on this thou, maybe someone can back me up?

Sorry Andrew, I didn't mean that I don't want a VL turbo pump I was
just wondering what else can be used. I think my chances of finding a
wrecked VL turbo with the pump still on it is buckly's, that's why I
asked. Daniel Kroehn

List, tomorrow I'm heading to the wreckers with a mate of mine and am
wondering what fuel pumps I should look out for to suit a reasonably
high powered Z-18et. I already have the standard EFI high pressure pump
but I think with up to 250hp (that's my ultimate goal) the standard one
will not be able to flow enough volume to keep up with the engine. So
which cars are suitable donors for such a pump except VL turbos? Cheers
