Changing numbers is a great idea if you wanna void insurance for your
lifetime. Have an accident, then Accident Investigation Squad look over
your car and do the old Oxy trick on your block and hey presto the outline
of your old number emerges. You may not get charged criminally but your
insurance company will black mark you for life.
Sound extreme?
I have seen it happen!

hi, why dont you grind the number off, make it look real neat , then
ring
up the liscence ,road traffic board or whatever and tell them that you have
a
nissan L series block which hasent got a engine number on it , and what do i
do?
tell them that the engine is .....(the type you need to get it
passed.......).
tell them that your uncle use to work for nissan and he got it from there
years
ago, or you found it at the dump....etc...... what can they do?
