Hey Mark, I think I know the car with the Z18 that you saw! That was a Z18
fitted with a L series box - the engine was moved to make the gear shifter
point straight upwards! The shock tower was also bashed a fair bit. It was
hideous. Fortunately Craig fitted a proper Z box was fitted and the engine
righted!
So make sure you use the same gearbox from the same series of motor, ie L on
L or Z on Z!
