A mate of mine here in Canberra has had a 350/T400 in his 240Z for many
years of reliable daily driving (also drag car and what ever else he does in
it) and he was doing alright until we got to the petrol bit - he could have
a bit of a problem with that - I presume that's Sydney to Adelaide. Still,
it's an awesome car and the conversion didn't cost anywhere near as much as
a turbo which he considered. He's building a Gen 3 Chevy stroker ~400 cid,
EFI this time and roller everything for it - should go real well. The 350 is
tricky enough as it is, anytime you want to turn right in this thing under
100mph just squeeze the accelerator and they say FWD are bad for torque
steer and even your average turbo 1600 doesn't light up the tyres at 70mph
and that's in the dry, you leave this one at home when it's wet.
