Got a feeling I know that car from years ago

Do you know a bloke named Bevan Purcell?

Trev
The wheels are made by a guy in Ipswich named Ian Boettcher (help me here
brad H).
The centres are cast simmons anf the rims are steel. Too much offset to be
totally legal on the road unfortunately. they came with slicks hehe
As for the brakes...
Front
Landcruiser 4 spots (i think)
Mazda 929 vented discs
Its a great set up but was expensive and is way too heavy IMHO
Combined with a rear set up i have not totally identified it stops really
well every time u apply the pedal
The rear is
Commodore front calipers
Unknown vented disc (discs are stuffed so I'm trying to work out what they
are}
I haven't got any pics of this setup at the moment but i was considering
doing a page on brakes anyway.
I know theres a lot of interest in 4 spot brakes here and I really have
formed some strong opinions about the issue
Especially for young drivers and sr converted 1600"s!!!
I am pusuing some alloy billet calipers but no firm details as yet
I love the power of the 4 spots but i hate the feel of the unsprung weight
flying all around the place..
enough of my ramblings
cheers
Mick
PS when i first put the 4 spots on i had r31 rears. I outran a merc 450sel
down thru cunningham gap towing my coach boat behind. Gotta be the best
brake test available i think. haha
pps if u gonna have big brakes u gotta have wheels that allow people to see
'em!
