Andrew The best battle I saw was between Harry on the H2R and Steve Trinder on the 250 Aermacchi (Harley-Davidson would u believe) at Hume Weir in the 25 lap "King of the Weir" Hammer and tongs for 25 laps and the lead changed at least twice a lap. Trinder fell off 3 times at scrub corner.... The crowd were numb at the end ! The battle of the 700 yamahas of Willing and Hansford at Bathurst also figure prominently in my memory.
