Andrew if possible could you give me the specs on your turbo. Oil line feed for the turbo developed a crack, it was only by chance i pulled over in the service station and saw it, checked oil and it was just above low. Oil pressure light didnt come on, and the car idles fine now, but it belches out the white smoke so id say the seals etc are gone in the turbo. Still better than a seized motor. Now im faced with 3 different choices. 1) a to3 replacement off an fj20 (anyone got a cheap one lieing about). 2) a t3/4 combination. They have benefits, internal gate,retain standard manifold, depending on housing can still be lag friendly etc. But i dont want to spend too much on a t3/4 that i will be changing. or 3) purchase a to4, make up custom exhaust manifold. modify dump pipe, add external wastegate, malpassi, oil cooler, add two mercedes fuel pumps etc. I'll eventually be going the later route, but for now i'd prefer option 2 so any comments about t3/4 or costs associated. would be much appreciated. cheers fellas regards chris
