Thanks Terry,

I think the next rebirthing of my 2Ltr L series will have to have Z20E
internals. That is if I can find the parts cheep enough.

Trev

Trev,

Z20S are supposed to have 2.0mm, 2.0mm and 4.0mm grooves and Z20E are
supposed to have 1.5mm, 1.5mm and 4.0mm grooves. I've never seen a Z20E
apart to check but that's what my trusty Total Seal cattledog says.

regards
Terry

Richard,

So what you're saying is that Z20S pistons and rods bolted to an L20B crank
will give a better rod stroke ratio than te L20B gear. Then you can go
futher by using the Z20E gear.

Does the Z20S pistons have the thinner 1mm? rings, like the Z20E's are meant
to have?

Trev
