I wasn't refering to the seals as needing goo.  I just remember a while ago
someone swearing that genuine nissan seals have never leaked for them and
they had nothing but trouble with non-genuine items.  I was just wondering
with the goo as I plan to use it for the sump and timing cover, as well as
the rear bearing cap seals.   As it is, my damn engine in the car at the
moment leaks a little around the oil pump where is bolts to the timing cover
and from the front inspection plate.  I don't what it happening again
because it shits me off no end.
