I'm in the process of getting a batch = of ten
1600=20 strut braces made up. They have a polished alloy cross brace
with=20 stainless fittings (adjusters) and baked enamel steel tower = tops.
They will be about $160 and should have = enough=20
adjustment to clear all L's, FJ, SR and CA conversions.

I have a strut brace in my 1600. I bought it out of a 'written off' = =3D
1600=20 in=3D20 ACT earlier this year. I bought as part of a package, but
it = probaly =3D=20 ended up=3D20 costing about $ 50. It had been custom
made in Sydney, = but by who=20 I =3D don't=3D20 know. I thas improved the
handling of my 1600, = partiulary at=20 higher =3D speed. Not=3D20 only
that, it is a polished alloy finish, = and it looks=20 very race. I =3D
also have=3D20 a fat sway bar, another contributing = factor to the=20 handling
of my =3D vehicle. It=3D20 is lowered about 50mm.
