Yeah, I do a bit of club racing James, but the car is my daily driver.

The money side of things really is the limiting factor, I don't don't doubt the pro flex gear is the goods :))

Hi Guys,

The time has come to lash out and buy a set of adjustable Koni's for the front of the datto...

Problem is, the Konis aren't externally adjuable, so I have to pretty much choose a setting to start with, hard, soft, somewhere inbetween before I put them in.

What are peoples recomendations and why.

Thanks guys,

Mark,
From mine and some mates experiences you will nearly always have a hassle or two when you change the state of rego for a modified car. If you are considering doing this then I'd strongly recommend that if it is possible that you get the car inspected in NSW before you buy or make it a condition of sale. A mate of mine had more hassles than you could imagine re-regoing his own car (modified FC V8 Wagon) that is show quality and fully engineered (one of the most comprehensive reports i've ever seen) and regoed in his name in Vic. He got transferred in his job to the ACT - the items that the car didn't comply with here was astounding but they let him still drive it on a restricted permit as he engaged a local engineer who supplied a letter of intent to rectify which was the only decent part of his ordeal. He would have spent in the vicinity of $2000 just to get it regoed in the ACT which he was prepared to do, but if you add this sort of money onto the purchase price of a modified car it hurts a bit.

regards
Terry

Has anyone in NSW bought a car from interstate and then tried to get it registered in NSW?

If so, have you had any problems with this - especially imports and modified cars.

Mark.
