Yes,   the hydraulic handbrake goes in the line for the rear brakes and using a remote master cylinder activates only the rear brakes, we used to use master cylinders off a caravan trailer but repco had a setup and landrover ones might do the job. the master cylinder needs to be remote and not have a resivour of its own inside the car...instead of having this, one pipe is for in and one is for out and the handbrake pushes the piston on the cylinder. :)   Aaron [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: damien cm To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2002 3:18 PM Subject: hydraulic H/brake and Comm calipers Hey all, Does anyone know how a hydraulic handbrake would have to be set up to operate my 1600 R31 disc rear-end (yes, I already know its illegal)?   How does it work without operating the front brakes at the same time?  Anyone know any workshop in ACT who can plumb the lines properly? Will newer commodore calipers bolt to the 180B (76.2mm mounting bracket)?. I have heard that VS and VR single piston calipers are the same as VL turbo calipers. Any feedback appreciated, as the boys and I are confused!!!!!!!!
