Title: RE: Exhaust sizes (HELP)

You should make up 3 or 4 so you can sell them, as I think the std Z18 one is pretty bad.

Wouldn't have a clue as I don't know how much power the engine had to begin with. It was pretty worn. Basically I'm doing all I can within reason to extract maximum performance from the turbo. It was cheap to build(the manifold), a bottle of wine for the exhaust and two turbo flanges, 25 bucks for the buttweld bends, 35 bucks for the exhaust wrap(my price). The expensive bit is getting it machined. My old man's mate is now back from holidays so he will be able to remachine it for free which is a great relief.

When its properly sorted out, I'll take some piccies.

How much more power do you expect to get out of the custom Manifold?

I know all about turbo's fouling on things!!! I finished my custom manifold
for the T03 and decided to check if the engine mounts fitted, this was after
I spent 100 bucks on getting the flanges milled flat. If the engine didn't
have to have the engine mounts swapped side to side(Z-18et) then it would
have fit perfectly, but now it fouls on the engine mount. It's going to be
dick all work to fix it, but then I'll have to get the flange that bolts to
      the engine re-milled which = more $$$$$$$$$$$$.
But hey, you learn from these expenses, sorry experiences.
