Title: RE: Rear Wheel Alignment Settings

What is a 'bump spacer'?. Does it space the strut apart from the lower control arm to get a better angle on lowered cars?

To my knowledge bump spacers aren't illegal anywhere in Oz, not that i've ever pointed them out to an inspector. I'm sure if they wanted to get pedantic about a lowered car they will fail it on some other technicality though.

    regards

      Craig,

I haven't driven on a track for over 3 years now, though in the future definitely. I'd say the bump spacers would be a great idea, though they're illegal on the road from what I've heard. On uneven roads It is a little noticeable but not extreme, could definitelty be better. I've thought of reshaping the lower ball joint mount and raising the pivot point but have been reluctant so far. Have a new toy in the works and will try some ideas on that. I think a lot is down to personal prefernce too, but might be a good base to work from ?
