I agree.Thats one problem with the FJ, gaskets, timing sets etc.. are not cheap, I was just lucky to find a head gasket for mine about 7 months ago fairly OK price, but the parts at least seem to be around in reas. quantity, plus a well built FJ is a very strong puppy. The 2 major differences are the Skyline has larger plenum or the more desirable Silvia which has a smaller plenum and fits into a 1600 slightly easier. Depending in model year there are variations in turbo etc.. Take a look at www.fj20.cjp.net for lots of info.
