Wayne,
I'm not sure if this is the right way, but it worked for me.
To remove the chrome strip running along the top of the doors. I simply
grabbed a flat head screw driver and a cloth.
Placed the cloth on the paint and gently wedged the very edge of the chrome
strip up and worked my way along the strip doing the same thing.
With the indicator (it was a while ago that i removed it) i'm pretty sure
that they slide back or forwards then pop straight out.

1. How do i remove the indicators from the front (side) guards?
2. How do i remove the chrome strip (window seal) on the doors ?
The car is a 69, 1600.
