Craig at Maddat was talking about doing a custom mani for the FJt (he does one for the NA) so I'd check if it got off the ground. The sketch I saw had the turbo sitting higher and forward and it would fit perfectly.
 
The 7/8" cylinder is suitable as long as it has removable reservoirs, and the same goes for any Japa cylinder, although there is a clutch master (bodgie brand, made in Malaysia) that the Urvan connector doesn't quite fit. We used some sort of glue on it that never leaked but I wasn't happy with this one.

what if a custom turbo mani was purchased and applied - would the firewal bashing be needed??
 
and the 7/8th twin reserviour is not possible with the FJ20 conversion???

I found I had to 'encorouge' the passenger side firewall a little to gain some clearance for the turbo-exhaust too, but it depends how far back your engine sits. Just cut a section out and welded in a small depression. I used the urvan MC too, its a beaut, with fiat reservoirs (look a little nicer than nissan), found that the radiator from an Audi 5000 (or was it 4000) works well though the N13 Pulsar seems to be the preferred mod.
