I am under the impression that since most factory fuel maps run a
little rich under boost, as long as you dont go mental and double the
boost or something, the leaning out wont be to a point where it is
immediately dangerous. A rising rate regulator might correct the
leaning out once you pass the point where the FCD is fooling the
computer into thinking it is at a lower boost level, but then when you
are running normal boost levels you could be running rich, and that
could do nasty things as well. A microfueller could fix it instead of
the rising rate regulator and be more effective, but once you have
thrown all that money at it for a couple of extra PSI, you might as
well go aftermarket, and get ready for some serious boost.
