yeah, i wouldnt either,  but   WHO  would put  rings in a damaged   or rough
bore?
 i`m just talking about  ya normal  motor in sorta normal condition , thats
just smokey.

 by the way , when i   FIRST  started to   get into engines   etc... i re
ringed my brothers slant 6  engine, and that had a patch  about  4 cm long
and about 2-3 cm wide (   corossion due to sitting for a while). and a haf
decent ridge ( which i got out with dry rub paper) and that lasted 2 and 1/2
years  till we sold it.....
  so who can say ts gonna last  2 months or 2 years.?
