N42 is an L28 and has a very similar combustion chamber to the E88 commonly found on Oz spec 260Z engines. Of course the N42 has a slightly bigger inlet valve (44mm conmpared with 42), but a mild to mid-performance engine this difference will not make any real difference. If you want to up the CR on a stock L26 or L28 without changing pistons or shaving heads, get hold of an E88 head from an R30 Skyline engine (L24E) and bolt that on. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
