hi, get the ring compressor that has a little red handle, and is about 2 to 2 1/2 inches tall and the actual compressor bit (band) goes up and down. ( like this actually..:-across,up,across,down,across,up,across etc...) these are 100 % better than the old clamp and coke can type,. they get a much better push in on the rings...... i think they might be about 50 -80 dollars. cant remember the brand, but repco sell them,,,,
