i'm having problems welding up/filling the bolt holes in the skyline/pintara rear brake bracket. I can fill the holes no worries, but can also knock the weld out with ease too. The weld doesn't seem to be sticking?? I've tried drilling holes in other materials then filling up the holes and there is no way on earth i could knock the weld out.
I'm thinking that it maybe something to do with the material the bracket is made out of??? This is really annoying as i've welded and rewelded with different settings a million times all with the same results. THe welder i'm using is on the link below(cigweld Transmig 130 twin using gas) http://www.cigweld.com.au/pages/images/product/welding/023.pdf ANy help or suggestions as to what i am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. cheers, Adam --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
