Andrew, I'm pretty sure it isn't cast, i'd be inclined to say it is alloy(like Chris suggested). If it is alloy, would i need to use different gas or simply get different wire?
It just pools up when welding on flat surfaces on the bracket. This weld can then be knocked off with a few taps of the hammer. I'm not really keen on having to get a different gas(more $$$).
