Having Rust Troubles With R31 Pintara, I have recently found a nasty terrible problem with rust in my pride and joy stock standard :-) Pintara.
The rust has set in on the water gully under the front windscreen, and it seems to have eaten a nasty hole inside the boxed in section near the intake for the fan box, and on the drivers side just above the wiring. Other then this the car is a very sound car, i don't want to get rid of it just cause of these hole's but because my attempts to fix it have been null and void i was wanting to know is it easier / safe to cut the boxed out section with a oxi, and then plate and fix the rust like that and then set the boxed section back in?!?! Has anyone ever encountered this trouble before. because i would like to know cause i also have a R31 Skyline Silhouette 1989.
