RE: next worth while engine conversion?

A well tuned twin cam turbo-4 could do it, but a VG 30 Turbo (or even better twin turbo) would be less stressed and have slingshot torque. The twin cam is big and expensive but the SOHC is a nice engine with lots of potential, that could fit fairly snugly in a 1600 with the right manifolds etc..
