The 1600 2 door has basically the same side silhouette as a four door. It
is hard to tell the 2 door from a distance. The difference is that the "B"
Pillar is moved back about 100mm and a longer front door is fitted. (Must be
murder on those hinges). Rear of the B pillar is a fixed lower panel in
place of the rear door. The roof profile is the same as the 4 door. There
is a picture of James Fitness' 2 Door sedan in the "Feature Cars" Section of
the Ozdat site.

The Coupe is a really different beast in the upper half from the front
windscreen. It has the same longer front doors, but the roof line slopes
lower after the front doors and meets a more steeply raked rear screen and
boot line. It has a genuine "fastback" style. Inside, the trim is the same
as a four door, it has a rear seat with very low head room, which you get
into by flipping the back of the front seat forward - very cosy.

A friend, Mick Ellis, owned one of only two 1600SSS Coupes in Australia in
the early 1980's, both were imported by Datsun dealers in the early 70's.
This one was red and it was fitted with an L18SSS engine and gearbox and a
neat console on the tunnel. I have a slide of it somewhere, taken on
holidays with the owner. I will try to find it and if its any good, I will
post it on the members page.
