I just remembered that a mate of mine used a Magna thermo fan on the inside
(suck) of a L20B/1600 radiator and it fitted perfectly. You can pick them up
pretty cheap with all the wiring and mounting hardware from a U-Pull.

I have an L18 with standard radiator thickness, and have
fitted/squeezed a thermo in - cant remember size but its about 1in
bigger than the depth of the rad core. Cant remember the details
but I can check out dimensions, fan source, pics if you're
interested...
