Bob, You wouldn't get the best possible performance out of a cam with those specs unless you have a CR between 10-11.5:1. With say 8.5-9.5:1 it wouldn't be all that fuel efficient unless the head was well ported and the manifold was port matched and the fuel delivery was up to the task. A big camshaft by itself wont do much other than sound cool and drink lots of fuel - some ppl fit them just for that purpose and that's fine if that's what you wish. Also, that's an unusual grind for a L6, although not all that different I suppose to the popular 36/66 L24 rally grind which is a real nice cam for an L6.

Or does it depend from grind to grind? What do you pay for Z round tops - and does anyone have any in the syd/wollongong area? Should be a great engine with these. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
