hi, i never did anything else, every time u get a
regrind/new cam you dont have to always change the rockers etc......
i have never had a problem with lash
pads etc, ivan tighe said i didnt have to change any thing. and how
my engine was performing on the dyno, yes the cam did make a
difference.
one thing you have to check out on high
lift cams is to make sure the valve collets dont pinch the seal or touch
the valve guide, if it does touch the guide all ya do is get a grinder and
carefully lop a little of the top of each guide. i know this is
different, but i did up a hemi 6 and ran a 272@050 thou, with a radically shaved head
, and about 560 lift with no problem at all, and i did nt have to change
any thing, i did put roller rocker s on it only cause th ehemi ones are
prone to cracking.
