Ross,
I don't think that L28 does much for the handling as the
weight is very far forward. Did you see the Samuri 1200 coupe on that page? That
also has an L28 but half of it's in the car. The front of the motor is nearly
level with the front of the strut towers.
This car was built for circuit racing so I guess it must
handle okay but then this car was built in the days before turbo fours were
available (it originally had a 240Z engine). It's a lot of work to do this kind
of swap and probably not worth the end result. If I was gonna use a six I'd go
V6.
