squealling brake pads

Hi all,       My Metal Kings in my 1600 (200B brakes) have started to make a slight squeal when i slow the car down gently but goes away if i brake harder. Is this a sign of glazed pads or the Pads themselves ( the brand), any ideas? If there glazed, how do i unglaze them.
