Thanks everyone.
They only do it when there is some warmth in them, not when they are cold. So off to the Black Spur i go!!!

Metal Kings are full of brass and are made for heavy use, its normal for them to squeel a bit if used lightly for a while (glazed, as you guessed) .  A quick run down a long winding hilly road should fix them for a while, or take them out and roughen them up.

Subject: squealling brake pads

Hi all,
My Metal Kings in my 1600 (200B brakes) have started to make a slight squeal when i slow the car down gently but goes away if i brake harder. Is this a sign of glazed pads or the Pads themselves ( the brand), any ideas? If there glazed, how do i unglaze them. I`ve had them for about 6 months and they heve never made a sound.

Thanks,
          Kris
