Ever
watched a V8Supercar race, Ie at bathurst the brakes squeal for about 5 or so
laps as the compound is not upto operating temp.
Check
the compound to see what you have as below may need to warm up
more
That
should b fun though
sand them..
roughin them up a bit by using sand paper or a
fine file.
:)
either that or they are not hot enough.. warm up
the brakes abit (break hard from high speed)
:)

Subject: squealling brake pads
Hi all,
My Metal Kings
in my 1600 (200B brakes) have started to make a slight squeal when i slow
the car down gently but goes away if i brake harder. Is this a sign of
glazed pads or the Pads themselves ( the brand), any ideas? If there glazed,
how do i unglaze them. I`ve had them for about 6 months and they heve never
made a sound.
Thanks,
