Yes yes I forgot to mention to take care and I suggest you get a shop to
do it for peace of mind. If you screw the update up, consider yourself
out of pocket for the amount of a new motherboard...

But sounds like you got an old motherboard...  find out the make of the
hard
drive, and download a drive overlay (made by the manufacturer) which
loads
at bootup...  I've been running one on my 20Gig for a year or two
without a
problem, I even left it on there when I got a new motherboard and it
still
runs happily.

As always take care when tampering with stuff like this... always read
up
first, especially with BIOS updates!
