What we know here as a A87-BP head is basically the same as the V912 version from Japan that could be ordered from a Nismo dealer at considerable expense but far cheaper than the FIA - It has 38mm round ports and huge inlet valves ~42mm. They were standard on twin Mikuni fed factory L18's and sometimes if you were lucky you'd find them at importers - Aus only got the puny twin Hitachi L18SSS engine and most of them had A87 heads with intermediate sized (~35mm) ports and smallish valves.
