I don't understand what you are trying to achieve arguing this point with andrew!!
a T25G is an S13 SR20DET turbo. T25 is an S13 CA18DET turbo. ----- Original Message ----- From: "vu thai" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, December 13, 2002 12:44 AM Subject: Re: t28 turbo boost > u see, if u have such a tough internal than why don't you get something like > a GT30BB and raise the boost and you probably get 230RWKW not 230RWHP, i > mean why do you spent so much money in such a tough internal and run power > of a stock CA18 can cope quite easily, i really don't understand what you > are trying to achieved, by the way you what is the t25g is cos i only know > that the t25 either comes in dynamic form or carbon. i assume you mean > carbon than? > > > >From: andrew smith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >Subject: Re: t28 turbo boost > >Date: Thu, 12 Dec 2002 06:57:16 +0800 > > > >You would be suprised out how well the little CA18det's like to rev > >although the > >one ive been playing with lately is being limited to 8000rpm.They are also > >quite > >strong in standard form and with a set of forged pistons will cop a lot of > >abuse.Anyone that put a 600-700hp turbo on one is just plain mad.We have > >been > >using a t25g with a 48mm comp wheel using the .64a/r turbine and the .8a/r > >comp > >although the turbine wheel is slightly smaller than the GTiR one the comp > >wheel > >is bigger. This one is using a 15psi actuator and is making over 230rwhp and > >is > >certainly drivable. The owner is fitting a 75hp nos kit this week which will > >go > >well having a nice responsive engine with a bit more punch at the flick of > >a > >switch. > >vu thai wrote: > > > > > well obviously, the CA18 is stock internal and i will not think the > >factory > > > ECU or any one would be silly enough to rev way over the factory redline > > > limits unless they have serious internal, any even if he did, i would > >not > > > think that he would want some think this small and restrictive, he would > > > want some big bertha that can punch some 600-700 hp, what you are > >mention is > > > a drag car setup and is not street drivable, even though u could but it > >will > > > run like dogs, but until boost come in, the car will be uncontrolable or > > > very hard to.
