A lot of power loss problems with EFI is that the injectors get gummed up - I don't know how good kiwi fuel is but as you know aussie stuff is pretty much crap except for Optimax & co. I always stick a bottle of Wynn's ejector clean thru the Toy every so often and it's best before a trip and it seems to do the trick - 300+ k's on it now and still haulin' ....

I have been finding the leopard V8 seams a bit flat of late .
 
If it was a 1600 I'd check the pionts maybe replace or file up and regap.(maybe advance the dizzy a tad to make up any chain wear.
Now the V8 has no dissy,no pionts,It is chain drive quad cam so I'm thinking can it be ajusted or should I just go in a get a new chain fitted?.(but its only done 98Kms and the yanks say the VH41DE is good for 350,000+Km's).
 
One day someone might hit me in the car and shit what a shame the engine would have to go in the 1600.I have been told their is a nissan V8 in a 510 in Japan..O so nice.
