I have a pair of 240K springs and they are a fair bit shorter than 1600 and they have same diameter coils. I think they are around 50mm shorter . They do drop straight in but I cant tell you what ride hight you would get. I will measure their unloaded lengths tonight to give you an idea of the likely differences. It ultimately all depends on the differences in spring rates of course.
You may have missed my question on the last post. Do you have a RHF guard that can be restored, are you willing to sell it, and if so what $$$.
