yes , i`m after a sr20 rwd gearbox, yep we got one here, the cars top half has been burnt but the box should still be okay... hmmm fair enough i thought. so i drive right across adelaide to lonsdale, i go to look at the box and what the f***, the whole box was completely burn black, the wires etc where all melted, and the spot where the speedo sensor goes in was completely melted.. and plus , i tried to hold the gearbox still while he tried to turn the output shaft .................. stuff me .... have u got any thing else??? to cut a long story short , to get the another box, itself was $595, a EXTRA 45$ for the thrust bearing carrier, another 45$ for sandwich plate... all up he wanted $780 for all that including a starter for sr 20.i ended going to api engines also in lonsdale and got the WHOLE lot for $590...... bit better..... the guys at japanese motor sport are a bunch of tossers..... walk into the shop wait there for about 10 minutes , then one guy said" can i help u" ...."yeah , i phoned up before and u said u got a sr20 rwd gearbox" ..... nah mate........ also went to about 5 wreckers that said they had the sr gearboxs... nah, mate got nothing......... just got my bitching out the way................pretty peed of after doing 700 km today.. mark k --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
