Daniel,
Basically all you do is transfer the springs and shocks from your
1600 struts to the 200B struts, then fit the left hand strut assembly(200B)
to the right hand side in the 1600 and the right hand strut assembly(200B)
to the left hand side in the 1600. You need to do this because the caliper
fouls on the outer tie rod end. Then just bleed the brakes.
A few things to be wary of are;
1, What size master cylinder are you running? You will need about a 13/16
(see what size is on a 200B) inch dual circuit master cylinder preferably
with a 180B/120Y power booster if you allready don`t have this.
2, You may need to put a spacer in the strut tube for the shocker as the
1600 had 3 different length shockers.
3, Use a spring compressor!!!
4, If you have lowered 1600 springs, make sure they remain captive in the
200B struts.
5, Don`t take off the disc backing plate.
6, Bleed the brakes!!
7, MAKE SURE EVERTHING IS TIGHENED UP BEFORE YOU GO FOR A DRIVE!!
If anyone can add, please do.
Kris.
