for the money I could muster up, a wolf was about the best value for money.
Is yours one of the latest SMC's? I would have to do some research and find
out if it would do everything that I needed, if it is, I might consider
swapping then. Unless of course you are been sarcastic with your last
comment?

I'm not a huge fan of the handset. I've tuned my wolf and will say that
having the laptop plugged in made things easier to diagnose and setup than
when I did initial tuning with the handset. The handset is cool but still
I
reckon the ability to plug in the laptop helps heaps, tuning time is
considerably quicker too. Anyway if you want a handset based aftermarket
computer I know where you can find a new Wolf3d version 4.0 that someone
would gladly swap for your Autronic ;)

hi, i have a autronic (when i bought my sr , the autronic came with it)
for
my sr20. its only programmable via laptop,.
which i consider a major pain in the arse.

the software and programming it seems ( i reckon anyway) pretty
confusing.
the wolf/microtech are alot easier to tune setup, all via a handset.

i have a autronic floppy disk which i should be able to email it if you
want to have a look at it...

Hi guys has anybody had much to do with Autronic SMC computers?? I sold
My
Microtech MT8 quite a while ago while doing a ca18det into 1200
conversion. Im getting bits and pieces ready to get my 1200 going again.
I
have not heard anything bad about them just wondering how user friendly
they are ect. It will be running my pretty serious CA18det with upto
25psi
on avgas. Can get one $1500 with loom and sensors brand new. Any info
good
or bad would be great.
Thanks In advance Andrew
