I'm not a huge fan of the handset. I've tuned my wolf and will say that
having the laptop plugged in made things easier to diagnose and setup than
when I did initial tuning with the handset. The handset is cool but still I
reckon the ability to plug in the laptop helps heaps, tuning time is
considerably quicker too. Anyway if you want a handset based aftermarket
computer I know where you can find a new Wolf3d version 4.0 that someone
would gladly swap for your Autronic ;)

Cheers

hi, i have a autronic (when i bought my sr , the autronic came with it) for
my sr20. its only programmable via laptop,.
which i consider a major pain in the arse.

the software and programming it seems ( i reckon anyway) pretty confusing.
the wolf/microtech are alot easier to tune setup, all via a handset.

i have a autronic floppy disk which i should be able to email it if you
want to have a look at it...
