Put a pair of vice grips on the shaft centre (or small stilsens) and undo
the nut then.

Subject: Stuck swaybar

Guys, today I was trying to remove the sway bar from my 1600. I got to the
last
bolt and found that no matter how many times I turned the damn thing it
wouldn't loosen. So the thread is stuffed somehow.
I tried briefly trying to jam a screwdriver in there but it still wouldn't
unthread. To make it worse, I can't get a socket in there (it is the bolt
between the bush and crossmember) so it is extremely hard to turn.

Anyone got any other tips? I'm open to hacksawing but there is hardly any
room!!

Thanks in Advance,

Zac
