What makes you say that? I must admit having little to do with either
engine, but just from power outputs, the RB20DET has about 50kw on the
RB30E, plus I imagine would have a nice fat midrange with the turbo. The
reasons I am looking at the RB20DET are that it is a common proven
conversion (which applies to the whole RB familiy I know), cost, and
since it is a daily driver it has about the right power for me. I would
like the extra torque of the RB25DET, but they are pretty expensive. I
would be keen to hear your thoughts.
