Hi Terry, What makes you say that? I must admit having little to do with either engine, but just from power outputs, the RB20DET has about 50kw on the RB30E, plus I imagine would have a nice fat midrange with the turbo. The reasons I am looking at the RB20DET are that it is a common proven conversion (which applies to the whole RB familiy I know), cost, and since it is a daily driver it has about the right power for me. I would like the extra torque of the RB25DET, but they are pretty expensive. I would be keen to hear your thoughts.
