RB30's are a tough motor only held back in top end performance by the inlet manifold. my mates was putting out 235kw's @ wheels with a standard bottom end, with over 200K km's on it. but like terry said, i would go the RB25det, or RB30et. they have MX7 gearboxes behind these motors, and are bullet proof, the RB20 has the same box as the CA, or R31 non-turbo. but like Neraj said RB20's are alot cheaper than a RB25, depends what you want your Z to do?
