One other thing, I have not tested in a Datto so take with a grain of salt, but I track-tested the EBC brake pads (supposed to be the bees knees), and walked away very unimpressed. They were supposed to be road/track spec and "supposed" to leave no brake dust. I found their performance very average, and brake dust almost the worst I had ever used.
Car was a Volvo S40, tested at Winton. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Terry Rudd Sent: Tuesday, 17 February 2004 8:45 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: Brake pads Everyone's probably going to say Bendix Ultimates and they're very good and should be available everywhere but I've had much better performance out of Bosch Supers (Supercheap can order them in at a good price) and Lucas are also very good if you can get them for whichever Skyline callipers you're using. If you can afford Pagid (either Blue for road or Black for track) then are far superior to just about anything around or if you have a contact stateside you could try Porterfield which are also very good and very easy on rotors. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mark Overend Sent: Tuesday, 17 February 2004 1:12 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Brake pads G'day everyone, can anyone recommend a brand of brake pads to use with sumitono calipers, skyline struts setup. They are going to go on my 180b for autocross use.
